Quick note. The first place I dug today yielded almost nothing.
The second place was all right. I dug less than 20 cm in a 2x2 unit. As a result, I have five gunny sacks full of lithic debitage. That was most of an afternoon of slowly screening through black clay. And will likely be the least dense and slowest of my four 2x2 units.
I am in serious trouble. And it is a wonderful place to be.
